Dean Greyling
Dean Greyling

Dean ‘MacGyver’ Greyling was one of the stars of the 2004 Craven Week competition and has now firmly established himself as a powerhouse in South African rugby.

Greyling attended Affies, in Pretoria, and played for the Bulls age-group sides from 2005 to 2007. He was one of the standout players in the 2010 Currie Cup and was rewarded with a call up to the Springboks Preliminary training squad ahead of their end-of- year tour.

He continued his good form during the 2011 Super 15 and was selected to start at loosehead prop for the Springboks on their Tri-Nations tour against Australia and New Zealand.

Steph Roberts

Steph Roberts was born in Bloemfontein and schooled at Grey College. After playing SAu19, he started his provincial career with Free State.

In 2007 he moved to Griqualand West and has now chalked up over 60 caps and firmly established himself as a quality loosehead prop in Currie Cup competition. Roberts has regularly been selected for a wider Cheetahs Super 15 training squad, and can be considered unlucky to not yet have made his debut in Super Rugby.

Caylib Oosthuizen
Caylib Oosthuizen

Originally from Oudtshoorn, Caylib was snapped up by the Golden Lions at a young age, where he has represented them since U19 level.

A strong scrummager who represented South Africa U20 at the IRB Junior World Championships, Caylib is being tipped by many to become a Springbok.

BG Uys

Having put in some strong performances for Pukke in the Varsity Cup competition and represented Leopards at age group level, BG has become one of South Africa's most promising up-and-coming props.

A strong scrummager who is mobile around the park, this explosive prop has had a stellar 2011 Currie Cup campaign with the Leopards.

Touted by many to represent South Africa at the next World Cup, it will only be a matter of time before BG gets his first Super Rugby cap, and achieves higher honours.

Ivann Espag
Ivann Espag

A powerful young front row forward, Ivann Espag is the son of a former Bull stalwart, Jaco Espag. Jaco represented the Bulls from 1989 to 2001, six years before his son would start his rugby journey with the self-same union.

Currently contracted to Griquas, Espag has tasted Vodacom Cup action with both the Bulls and Boland.

Espag has a bright future ahead of him and is thriving in Kimberley, developing under former Springbok Dawie Theron. With Theron's help, the former Bulls Under-21 star continues to improve his already impressive strength and technique.

Ronnie Uys
Ronnie Uys

A strong scrummager and powerful ball-carrier, Uys is equally comfortable on both sides of the scrum and has spent most of the 2011 season playing tighthead for the EP Kings.

Uys began his career with the Leopards before moving on to play Currie Cup rugby with the Sharks and later Super Rugby with the Cheetahs. After helping the Pumas secure their spot in the Currie Cup Premier Division in 2010, Uys made the move to Eastern Province where he has had a successful season with the Kings.

Corne Fourie

A former SA Schools and Springboks Under-20 prop forward, Corne Fourie continues to develop as a top-class loosehead prop at the Bulls.

Kevin Stevens
Kevin Stevens

Kevin Stevens was schooled at Grey College and represented Free State at Craven Week in 2005. He subsequently went on to represent Free State at u19 and u21 level.

The promising young prop got his first taste of full senior rugby in 2008, starting for the Cheetahs in the Vodacom Cup. Since 2009, Stevens has represented the Griffons in the Currie Cup B Section. He trained with the Cheetahs Super 15 squad in pre-season and impressed Naka Drotske with his approach to the game and his technique.

Sabelo Nhlapo

Impressive young loosehead prop Sabelo Nlhapo grew up in Soweto. He only decided to take rugby seriously after being selected to represent the Lions Craven Week team and then to tour Morocco with the SA Academy side in 2006.

Powerful and physical, Nlhapo played for the Baby Boks at u19 and u21 level, and made his Vodacom Cup debut for the Sharks in 2009 and his Currie Cup debut in 2010.

Gawen Nesindande

Looshead prop Gawen Nesindande is known for his strong ball-carrying and scrummaging abilities.

Nesindande joined the Leopards in 2012 where his performances to date have displayed a high work-rate off the ball, and a great ability to clean out rucks and dominate collisions.
